Hello dolls!

Week 8 of the #TeenBlogSeries! Can't believe it's almost over. I didn't write last weeks post because I'm currently doing online courses so I didn't really have anything to say about "Balancing blogging with school". Anyway, you can find all of my #TeenBlogSeries posts here.
This week I'm going to tell you my top 10 beauty tips (as you can see from the title). Some of these - or even all of them - may be tips that you already know, but they're the ones I like to keep in mind all the time. Hopefully you find them useful!

• Make sure you have the right skincare products for every season
• Always moisturise well when you wake up and before you go to sleep
• Remember to have makeup-free days
• When it comes to blusher (and usually makeup in general), less is more
• Replace your mascara after 4 months of use
• ALWAYS remove your makeup before bed
• Water, water, water - it does so much more than just keeps you hydrated

• When using a cream product, set it with a little bit of translucent powder
• Don't want to spend your money on a new expensive face mask? There are always great homemade beauty recipes!
• Clean your makeup tools at least once a week to fight against bacteria and breakouts

The Liebster Award | part 3

Hi all!
I've been nominated for the Liebster Award for the third time now (you can read my previous posts here and here). This time I got nominated by the lovely Ellie from Fox's Fads. Thank you so much Ellie for the nomination! Now onto the questions.

  1. What are your most worn shoes?

Probably my white Converse but currently I've been wearing my black riding boots a lot

  2. Do you wear certain jewellery every day?

I don't wear them every day but my go to jewellery that I wear the most are a necklace from my best friend which has a little heart that says "I love you" and my SOS bracelet.

  3. Do you do your makeup before you do your hair?

Always because I have to keep my hair in a bun/ponytail so it won't be on the way when I do my makeup.

  4. How many lip balms do you own?

Uhmm... Probably around 25?! I don't know, I just love lip balms!

  5. What your favourite body lotion?

My all time favourite is the Body Shop Coconut body butter. I've also been loving the body sorbets and they're from the Body Shop too.

  6. Do you prefer black or blue jeans? 

I prefer blue jeans but I've also been using black jeans a lot more than I used to.

  7. What's your favourite post on your own blog?

Uhm, I don't have one that I'm extremely proud of but I've a couple that I've really liked which are Ebony And Ivory, A Day On the Road and My First MAC Lipstick.

My First MAC Lipstick | Please Me

The time has come! I've finally bought my first MAC lipstick (or MAC product in general). The reason it has taken me so long to buy a lipstick from MAC is because I wanted it to be something special that I REALLY wanted and there are so many gorgeous lipstick shades so I just couldn't decide at first.

Now that I've purchased Please Me I couldn't be happier with my decision and I've been using it almost every day since I bought it. It has a matte finish and on the website it says that Please Me is a muted rosy-tinted pink. I definitely agree with the description but I'd also like to add that it is more rosy than on the website and a bit darker also.

I love how simple the colour is. It's almost the same as my lips but it gives them a nice rosy tint and brightens up my everyday look. I know a lot of people have said that the matte finish from MAC is very drying on the lips but for me when I apply a thick and very moisturising lip balm, let it sink in for about an hour and then apply the lipstick it doesn't dry my lips at all and it lasts the whole day!

All-together I love the lipstick. I think it's the most perfect everyday shade, the tube is perfect as all other MAC packages with it's simpleness and the lipstick even smells amazing with it's subtle vanilla scent!

Beauty Haul

I love the Body Shop's products so much I can't even tell! Last weekend they had a -20% sale for everyone who is a Love Your Body member. I've been waiting to try out so many products from there and now I just couldn't resist with the sale and all.
I have also been looking for a dark purple nail polish for this Autumn and a new pressed powder now that my old one has ran out. Luckily Rimmel London offered both of those things.

Products I bought

• The Body Shop: Wild Argan Oil & Moisture Set - These are probably the products that I'm most excited to try out but I'm actually going to wait until my bathroom renovation is done. This set has a cream bath lily, body butter, body scrub, bubbling bath and lip balm from the Wild Argan Oil range, they smell UH-mazing! 
• The Body Shop: All-In-One BB Cream in 00 - Now that my skin has been mostly clear of any spots I really needed to find a BB cream so I wouldn't have to use foundation. This one is just perfect for me because you don't have to be as specific when choosing the right colour (which is usually a huge irritation for me) because it adapts to your own skin tone.
• The Body Shop: All-In-One InstaBlur - I have already started using this primer and I love it so much! I was really surprised of the consistency at first though (it's kind of jellylike), but it makes my makeup last a whole lot longer.
• The Body Shop: Tea Tree Squeky-Clean Scrub - This scrub is something I've bought over and over again and now thought it would be wise to stock up on it because I use it so much. It makes my skin feel super clean and soft.
• Rimmel London: Long Lasting Pressed Powder in Sandstorm - I've heard and read so many good things about this powder and finally decided to buy it for myself and find out what I think about it. Still haven't tried it out though.
• Rimmel London: 60 Seconds Rita Ora nail polish in 613 Midnight Rendezvous - I'm so glad that I decided to check out the Rimmel stand when I was looking for the nail polish. This is the most perfect dark purple I've ever seen!
