One thing you might not know about me is that I love nature photography. I also love taking photos of my dogs, especially Duchess since Lila usually can't be bothered to look at the camera even if I ask her to... I think she might be camera shy.

Duchess on the other hand is very interested in my camera. Sometimes a bit too interested. I imagine that she's thinking something along the lines of "Ooo, what's that? Can I sniff it? Lick it? Maybe even taste it?!". When we're outside, it's a lot easier to take photos of her because she concentrates on playing rather than me.

The other day when it was really snowy and pretty outside with the sun shining I took some photos and thought I'd share them with you today!

Two weeks ago I had one of the craziest yet the most amazing weekends in a long time. I was so honoured to receive a blogger pass to the biggest beauty, fashion, lifestyle and health event of the year!

The event is called "I love me" and it's held every year at Messukeskus which is an Expo and Convention Centre in Helsinki with over 53 000 people attending this year. The event lasts for three days straight and every day is filled with all kinds of activities. You can even take a yoga lesson if you feel like it! Or if you're more like me, you'll probably book yourself a manicure or relaxing face massage.

Even though beauty isn't the only theme at the event that's the part I'm going to show you in photos today. I did have the chance to attend one of the fashion shows too, but I decided to do a completely separate post on that because otherwise this one would've just kept going on and on.

There's a few non-beauty related photos in the mix too but I hope you enjoy the photos nonetheless!

I really need to up my blogging game! I've been so busy since August started and just haven't had the time to sit down and write a post so it would sound anywhere near reasonable.

Now I've finally found the time to write as it's almost 3am and I can't sleep as four little ones keep making very high-pitched noises next to me. If you'd like to know more about that and why I haven't really had the time to write just wait for my next post that will be up in a few days!

But for now let's talk about Instagram shall we? I've always loved it, scrolling down my feed and looking at the gorgeous pictures other people keep posting. Last month though I wanted to start using it more and post more pictures I like and I really enjoy my feed in July!
